The Super High Tenacity (SHT) is a Polyester Staple Fibre product which is used to make sewing threads.

Recron^® SHT has the following distinct advantages:

• Low Shrinkage of fibres
• Works as a ‘multiplier’ for the fabric quality

The SHT fibre can be made available in micro and supermicro forms (0.8D, 1.0D and 1.2D) making the threads softer and easier to use. This is very difficult to replicate. Polyester is most suitable for making these threads due to cost, quality and machinery requirements.
